Pray For Justice Scotland
Sat May 11, 2019, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
'A Beautiful Waste'

Join a movement of advocates praying to see an end to slavery and violence against the world’s poorest.

In Mark 14 an alabaster jar of expensive perfume is broken over Jesus – to some this was a waste, to Jesus, 'A Beautiful Waste'. The work of justice begins at the feet of Jesus. Join us for a day of storytelling, intercession and worship with exclusive guests; Benson Shamala from IJM Kenya, Crystal Cryer from 24-7 Prayer Scotland, and Ps & Gs Music.

'A Beautiful Waste'

‘The Lord hears the cry of the righteous’
Proverbs 15:29

Working to end slavery and the everyday violence plaguing the world’s most vulnerable is a battle. It requires perseverance and encouragement, and it begins at the feet of Jesus - the one who carries the weight of all injustice and the mission to end it.

At IJM, we spend an hour every working day at the feet of Jesus. At Pray for Justice, as we intercede and align ourselves with those in need, we will explore prayer as 'A Beautiful Waste' and will encourage, inspire and uplift eachother in the journey towards justice. Joined by exclusive guest from IJM Kenya, Benson Shamala, keynote speaker from 24-7 Prayer Scotland, Crystal Cryer, and Scottish worship movement Ps & Gs Music, we will be equipped and heartened as we stand in the gap for the most vulnerable.

Join us on Saturday 11th May 9.30am-3.30pm at Queen's Park Baptist Church to gather at the feet of Jesus and Pray for Justice.
